Aero Club of Poland is an aviation association with rich traditions and great sports, training and educational achievements. Its activities cover the entire territory of the Republic of Poland.
The first formal and legal organisation of Polish sport pilots was the Polish Aero Club, established on October 30, 1919 in Poznań.
In April 1920, the Polish Aero Club became a member of the International Aviation Federation (Federation Aeronautique Internationale – FAI).
The Polish Aero Club has trained and educated many hundred Polish, European and world champions, multiple medalists and winners of international and national records, honoured with the titles of Champions of Sports and distinguished Champions of Sports. Polish sports aviators achieve numerous successes every year in gliding, airplane, parachute, balloon, hang gliding, microlight and paragliding sports, as well as in aviation and space modeling. In all these disciplines, they won well over 860 medals, including over 700 individual and team championship and runner-up titles.
Today, the Polish Aero Club is a social organisation of high utility, cultivating the most beautiful aviation traditions of many generations of Poles. Almost from the very beginning of its existence, it has been working for the country’s defence and participating in providing assistance to people affected by natural disasters.
Our aim is to provide forward information for everyone with an interest in aerobatic competition flying.
For this however we do need your help, so please make sure that your Aerobatic Club or National Airsport Control sends us details of all competitions that are open to pilots and/or judges from other countries and we’ll add them to our Championship Calendar so that they get the widest circulation possible.
