After the usual careful development interval, we are very pleased to announce that the 2024 version of CIVA’s Section-6 Part-1 Regulations for Power Aerobatics is now published, and can as usual be downloaded from the Document Store on this website.

Revisions in the 2024 document are as usual denoted by a vertical line in the margin for easy identification. Notable items include the need for organisers to implement a deadline for the Unlimited category Final Freestyle programme, inclusion of the Density Altitude criterion now to all categories, mandatory execution of at least some Safety, Warm-Up and Practice Manoeuvres before the start of every competition flight, the inclusion of a Low Penalty into the Defects in Flight section, and the recognition of Overall Junior Winners in all categories. There have been no revisions to Appendix-A figures, and the Appendix-B Judging Rules also remain largely unaffected.

With the Section-6 Part-2 regulations for Glider Aerobatics already available, the regulatory basis for all 2024 CIVA championships is now complete.
